GENERAL POLICIES & WAIVERS

 

 

General Policies​

  1. For Art & Play Toddler classes, children must be accompanied by a grownup.  All other classes are drop off.

  2. Children will be dismissed only to grownups known to the program. 

  3. Children must be picked up in a timely manner.  Late pick-up fees will be applied after a grace period of 5 minutes, in the amount of $15.00 for the first 15 minutes, and $1.00 per minute thereafter. 

  4. We take pictures of the children at work and we use them for our website and Instagram. We take care not to show the children's faces or anything that would reveal their identity.  If this makes you uncomfortable, kindly let us know before your child starts attending. 

  5. Make-up classes are offered for Art & Play.  For all other classes that follow individual curricula, we will do our best to help children make up the work they missed, but make up classes are not available.

Cancellation and Refund Policies

Each class has specific cancellation and refund policies, which are displayed in the class description page. 

 

Waivers

  1. All possible precautions are taken to reduce risk and to provide safe, healthy, and enjoyable experiences.  Art class materials and activities include, but are not limited to, paints, glues, pastels, chalk pastels, pencils, wood/plaster tools, fiber (yarn/fabric/papers), wax, plastic bags, batik dye, drawing and sculpting materials.  I warrant that my child  is able to follow directions for all activities in art classes. I acknowledge that risks from participation in art class activities exist and that I have allowed my child to attend Tonbo Art & Play  Program knowing these risks and their possible consequences, including personal injury.

  2. As parent/ guardian I will not hold Tonbo, Inc. liable for any personal injury or property damage. I agree to hold harmless and release Tonbo, Inc. from all liability arising from my child’s participation in art class.

  3. We nurture a culture of community and caring for each other.  Behaviors that cause harm, emotional, physical, or otherwise are grounds for immediate dismissal from the program. No refunds will be provided. These behaviors include, and are not limited to, damage to the physical space or materials,  bodily harm to people, impolite or hurtful language, negative comments and attitudes.

COVID-19 Guidelines 

Our groups are small and we follow DOH recommendations in regards to sanitizing furnishings and tools.
