Meet the Founder

After graduating from Bank Street College of Education, Stefania worked with children as an early childhood educator for many years.  Through her work, she consistently noticed how art provides an entry point to learning, an extension of play, and a means to explore and express the self and its relationship with the world.  In designing curriculum, Stefania always included art as an integral part of the learning experience.  Art and children became her passion, and through Tonbo Art Stefania hopes to give children the opportunity, the tools and materials, and the confidence to embark on an artistic journey that will last a lifetime.
